With the help of Gujarat State Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation, training was imparted to 25 artisans. The artisans used to draw beautiful religious pictures and stories on their walls, once their wish was accomplished in order, to please the God called “Pithoro”.
The artisans are now able to replicate these wall pictures onto different materials like paper and fabric. The have been able to come up with interesting products like photo frames, decorative trays, wall paintings etc. which have high marketability.
